I’m Ann Kathrin Daum, founder of Frau Wohlstand – and probably the last person who ever expected to end up talking about money and building wealth.
I’ve always questioned things. Even as a child, I wanted to understand why things were the way they were – and why they couldn’t simply be done differently. School felt too restrictive, too loud and too controlled by other people.
And yet, at some point I found myself caught up in what we call everyday life. Work, family, responsibilities – all meaningful, but underneath it all there was always that quiet feeling: there has to be more than this.
I wanted to create, experience things and build something of my own – and eventually I understood that I could only do that if I took control of my finances too.
So I started paying attention.
I never saw money as the enemy, but for a long time I treated it as something that simply had to work.
It was always there, always important – but it felt heavy.
Eventually I realised that money is a tool. I didn’t want it to feel like something I was constantly carrying around. I wanted to understand how I could use it to create something, put it to work and allow it to grow.
So I had to start dealing with it.
I wanted money to give me freedom – the freedom to make decisions from a place of calm and to shape my life on my own terms.
Since then, money works for me. Not the other way round.
It all started with crypto. Unfamiliar at first, then fascinating. But over time I realised:
Momentum alone doesn’t create stability.
Something that could provide structure and stability in the background. That’s how copy trading became part of my journey – as a foundation and a dependable base.
Today, it’s the area I rely on most. It gives me what has always mattered to me: structure, clarity and peace of mind.
In Dubai, all of this began to take shape. Questions turned into answers, and curiosity became clarity.
Today, wealth means awareness to me. The freedom to choose. And the confidence that comes from understanding what you’re doing.
Frau Wohlstand grew out of my own journey – out of mistakes, questions, experience and the decision to stop leaving my financial future to chance.
Freedom, to me, is that deep feeling of being able to breathe. I need space to think, to feel and to shape my own life.
I love starting things, creating them and watching them grow. And I need the freedom to let them go again when the time is right.
When I feel restricted, I lose part of myself. When I’m free to create, I feel whole.
Loyalty is my inner compass. I don’t trust easily, but when I do, I trust completely.
The people in my circle get my energy, my honesty and my heart. I keep my word even when no one is watching.
That goes for friendships just as much as for my team: anyone who commits to me never has to wonder whether I’ll still be there tomorrow.
And I expect the same in return.
Money isn’t a goal or an enemy to me. It’s a tool that allows me to live the freedom and loyalty that matter to me.
I’ve learned that money doesn’t suddenly change people. It simply makes what was already there more visible.
That’s why I talk about it so openly. Once you understand money, you no longer need to fear it, or let it run your life.
It can create opportunities, provide security and give freedom room to grow.
